I’m Edward DeBano. I live on Hickory St in Hortonville, WI.
I was very interested in photography in high school. I even had my own dark room in the basement. But back then film and cameras were expensive and life happened to me and I got away from the hobby.
Once digital cameras really started to take off I got a nice point and shoot and Photoshop and I was hooked again. Shooting a thousand images cost nothing if I did not print them. With Photoshop I could crop and color correct before printing.
In 2009 I bought an entry level DSLR and started shooting pretty seriously. In the spring of 2014 I sold my boat and upgraded my camera to a high end DSLR (Canon 5D MarkIII) and a couple of lenses and lots of other gear.
Having a great camera does not make me a better photographer but it usually makes my photographs technically better. To get better as a photographer I read lots of books and magazines on photography and I watch a ton of tutorials on line. There is always more to learn.
